DeadMan's Handle Awards and Recognition
DeadMan's Handle was launched in December 2004. Since then the system has received the following awards and recognition.
European IST Award Nomination
On 22 September 2005 Euro-CASE proposed DeadMan's Handle to the European Commission as one of the nominees for the European IST Prize.
What Laptop review
In March 2005 What Laptop gave DeadMan's Handle a 9 out of 10 rating, and awarded it an Editor's Choice evaluation. Their review concluded:
"We strongly advise that you use this software...we found it to be innovative, effective and excellent value."

Computer Weekly editorial
Computer Weekly singled out DeadMan's Handle as an example of small companies providing innovative IT solutions. To quote:
"...there are plenty of smaller suppliers which are using IT in inventive ways that can make real changes to people's everyday lives.
"For example, DeadMan's Handle, ..."

UKT&I and CeBIT
In January 2005 the UK Trade and Development selected DeadMan's Handle as one of the 10 'Best of British Technology' companies to be featured at CeBIT, the world's largest business to business IT showcase. DeadMan's Handle was backed by the UKT&I for the full CeBIT week (9 to 16 March 2005).
