DeadMan's Handle: customer privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Any information you give us will only be used for the maintenance of our relationship with you as a customer. We will not forward or sell your information to any other business or company for the purposes of advertising, mail lists and so forth.
Your information will be shared with our sister company Professional Projects Co Ltd, as they carry out our data processing for us (and actually developed DeadMan's Handle). Professional Projects will never contact you or divulge your information to any other party for any reason unless you specifically request it.
We will only retain your contact details, your communications preferences, your order details and information required to maintain your access to the secure section of the site. This information is securely protected. Only your access information (username and encrypted password) is retained on the web server; all private information is stored off-line.
The site uses cookies solely to enable the order process and, if you wish, to retain your access details for up to 60 days. We do not use cookies for any other purpose.
When you undertake a purchase, all transactions are encrypted. To ensure security and integrity of your credit card data we use the Protx clearing system for the acceptance of your credit card details. We (as DeadMan's Handle Ltd) never see your credit card information and do not retain it.
Communications
During the purchasing process you are asked for your communications preferences. We suggest that you take our newsletter to allow us to contact you occasionally by eMail to tell you of product updates. However, this is not obligatory and you can choose not to be contacted. In this case we will not contact you further unless necessary, e.g. if there were problems with the purchasing transaction.
