DeadMan's Handle: Services and Support
DeadMan's Handle Ltd provides a number of services, many of which are combined to produce our corporate support packages. However, these services are available to any of our customers, especially in relation to DeadMan's Handle and its general utilisation in the IT and security infrastructure. We can also provide suggestions and advice relating to security for laptops and general PC infrastructures. This page briefly covers the services.
Security
DeadMan's Handle can provide a number of security-related services, including:
- Definition of security policies, standards and practices.
- Application of BS7799/ISO1799 to businesses.
- Risk analyses.
- Audits.
- Implementation of security plans throughout the business with minimum disruption.
- Documentation and audit of security systems.
- General and specific laptop security suggestions.
DMH can also provide general cryptographic consultancy, and the use of cryptographic systems within businesses.
Project management
As a business, DeadMan's Handle Ltd has many years' project management experience, especially in the field of implementation of business change through IT. Typical services have included:

IT consultancy
DeadMan's Handle Ltd can provide general IT consultancy:

System validation
We have specific industrial experience in the pharmaceutical arena. We thus can provide validation services to pharmaceutical customers, including:
- The setup of a quality and validation infrastructure.
- Audits and evaluations.
- Design, implementation and documentation of systems to FDA standards.
We have also developed systems to meet 21 CFR Part 11 standards. In fact, DeadMan's Handle has been developed to be FDA compliant, and is documented as such.
It may be seen that although our primary business is the provision of laptop utility software that provides secure file deletion services, we support these products with a wide range of services and capabilities.
